Today’s Video Shout Out features a great video from photographer Tommy Penick. Tommy’s got some great outdoor and adventure work, and his latest is a video featuring snowboarder-turned-fly-fisher, Austin Leonard. There isn’t much in the way of dialog in this beautiful short film, but our favorite line from the video has to be this:“Whether you’re catchin’ a 4-inch rainbow on a dry fly in a tiny creek, or you’re swingin’ flies for 30-inch steelhead … at the end of the day you’re smilin’, and that’s the point.”
Now that’s a Black Gnats mantra if we’ve ever heard one! Enjoy!
P.S. If you don’t know already, “el arroyo” is Spanish for “the stream.”
